The College of Arts, Media, and Communication is composed of the departments of Art, Communication Studies, Cinema and Television Arts, Journalism, Music, and Theatre, and also includes Radio Station KCSN-FM, the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, and the Entertainment Industry Institute. The College has approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate majors served by more than 100 full-time and 200 part-time faculty. New facilities include Manzanita Hall, which contains studios for film, television, and broadcast news, plus a 120-seat screening room, and the Art and Design Center, which houses the Art Department and CSUN Art Galleries. College facilities also include a recital hall, two proscenium theatres and one black box theatre.

Reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by CSUN, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus, during the last three years, are included. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other safety matters. Print copies are available in the library, and by request from the Office of Public Safety and the Office of Faculty Affairs.
