This course is an alternative to the Fieldstudy/Internship requirement. It is designed to provide students with a forum to investigate researrch questions of their own interest and through their own design. Throughout, the course will emphasize the application and appreciation of various aspects of your sociological training – including data collection, statistical analysis, and reflection on the practice of sociology, rather than its terms, claims, and achievements).
