GENERAL EDUCATION
The university
requires all students to fulfill certain General Education (GE)
requirements. Students must complete requirements in
Sections A through F, plus the Title V requirements in U.S.
History and Government. Additionally, engineering students in electrical
engineering, computer engineering and civil engineering are required
to complete a Humanities/Social Science Concentration.
Because engineering students fulfill some of these requirements
as a part of their major, we recommend that you study each of the
items below carefully to insure that you satisfy all requirements
in the minimum number of units. If you have any questions about
the general education requirements you should consult with your
faculty advisor, department chair or associate dean.
