Getting on in the school semester. Phew. Almost ready for finals to come. What can I say. The best way to describe the situation is to liken everything with the base of a wave. You know the kind that wash up on shore from the ocean. If you are sitting in the water at the base of the wave the water is pretty shallow and the current is light. But as the wave gets closer the head of the wave comes crashing down on your head, the water lever just quadrupled and the current is strong enough to push you under the water. Adequate analogy I would say.
My nephew Zack just turned 1 years old on Sunday. Very exciting time. My sister and her husband will be down from silicon Bohemia for a few days and I'll be there taking all sorts of photos and what not with a pretty cool digital camcorder. Soon you'll all be able to see just how cute Zack is.
I've got a few weddings that I'll be heading to in the next month and I'm proud to say that neither of the two are my own.
On a slightly related note I am going to have to clear up a rumor that has been circulating around in certain circles. It seems that one of my sisters in Claremont has talked to a brother of mine who in turn talked to a mother of mine, (I'm not gonna mention any names here.) about an alleged escapade of mine in the mountains with an unnamed female. I want to clear up once and for all that I there were no women involved and everything was perfectly legal. (Of course my back and legs were killing me afterwards. ;-> ) Should there be any more doubts I can provide color photos, DNA information, and sworn testimony to the contrary. (The unnamed female is not available for comment.)
April 12 - April 18 Spring Break! You think I'm gonna update the page. Besides all the good news I would have to tell might get me in trouble with the law. Nuff said.
TOP April 5 - April 11
980414 22:02 It's April 14th. Do you know where your taxes are?
Aaah. I feel a whole lot better now, I really do. Many of you, (If the flood of email I have received is any indication.) have been wondering why the page hasn't been update in quite a while. The answer to that is simple. Well two things really, Spring break, and I have a real live outside the computer metaverse. Don't, however take this to mean that I can last long outside the computer world cause hey, 'the real world is a nice place but I wouldn't want to live there.'
Don't you just hate when the computer crashed just before you make an update and you lose all the data? Ponder that.
For those of you who have already submitted literary works for the literal page and are wondering where it is. I will get to them I soon, Uh, solar flares and El Nino have prevented my horoscope from- the universal biorhythms were off kilter with the orbit- Just stay tuned.
I am also working of finishing up the mirror of this site on Fortune City. It will be the cholesterol rich, sugar fortified edition of this site here with all sorts of full color photos, (No not those kind! Sheesh.) for your viewing pleasure. I'll keep you posted.

Aaargh. Both my computer and the blasted internet are giving me the hardest time right now. Crashes, lockups, no connections. It's a wonder that anything is working at all. But I have managed to update the Literal Corner a little bit more.
I am working on mirroring my site on Fortune City and will have that completed shortly. Fortune City offers 10 mbs of space while I have only 5 with my current account here. That is a whole lot of room but I am going to separate the sites between this one and that. I will be putting up the photos and what not on that site where I have a bit more breathing room. The access speed between Fortune City and myself is decent but not great and I will have two advertising banners stuck on my pages but I get more room to play with. (Chances are I don't even need the extra space in which case I can move all the web based goodness into a single location for your convenience.)
Work, work, work. I need to finish a book so I can get an essay written on it. Can't you tell I don't want to do it? (If I did I wouldn't be here on the computer would I?)
El Nino has done a lot of things for the California Southland, it has made the grass green, has cleared up the smoggy skies, has flooded houses, washed Malibu into the ocean, has pushed Pacific Coast Highway in after Malibu, and has been the foster parent to millions of mosquito larvae, butterfly pupae, and in my cast termite maggots. At ASC we had our first termite maggot infestation. They came up into the manufacturing department through a single, tiny hole in the ground. Thousands of them. Crawling on the floor and through the machines, flying around the lights, and in general being a big nuisance. It was fun and we fought the termites for a long time and unfortunately for ASC we got rid of them. Yeah, I know termite maggots and they'll be back and they'll have a score to settle. -sigh-

I'm just throwing another page together any way I please so head on over and give it your time. If something is out of the right than send it to my attention and I'll get on it. After all, I am a servant of the people. You the tax payers are footing my salary, (Part of in anyway.) You should demand excellence. Say it! "I DEMAND Excellence!!" (Well I did spend hours and hours drawing the TLC logo.)
I have made it through part of my mid-term test period and I think I am back into the regular groove now. On the upside I have borrowed a camcorder from a friend and now I'll be able to get my Rusty Nail page underway. Start salivating.
I just wanna say that I think that Leeloo is a pretty cool name. Oh that's the name of the "Supreme Being" from The Fifth Element, you know the one with the orange hair. I guess that makes the name Leeloo the "Supreme Name" or something like that.
I also wanted to wish everyone a belated St. Patrick's Day. I am not Irish or Catholic but I do like to say "Shamrock" and I like wearing green. Besides St. Patty's day is an all round feel good kind of time. Happy St. Patricks Day. I have my Spring break coming up here in a week so I was planning a hallacious week of drugs and debauchery in Vegas but I couldn't get out of work so I had to cancel it. Maybe next time.
