DEAN’S AWARDS
Three $500 Awards for one Junior, one Senior, and one Graduate student
Class standing:
Graduate graduate status
Senior 90 units minimum
Junior 60-89 units
Academic Achievement:
3.5 overall GPA or higher
Area of Emphasis:
Outstanding Service to the Department , the University, and/or to the community
will be a major consideration in awarding the scholarship.
Procedure for Student Applicants:
- Complete the Scholarship Application Form available online or in the CTVA Department (MZ 195).
- Submit a complete resume, and a statement of professional goals and interests. The resume must HIGHLIGHT the required service to the Department, University and/or to the community.
- Submit the names and contact numbers of three references, one of which must be a faculty member in the Department.
- Return all materials (stapled together with application form on top) to the CTVA Department no later than March 4, 2011.

Educational Equity Awards
There are eight categories of Educational Equity Awards. The Department selects student recipients for each of the categories. Except for the graduate award, students at all class levels are eligible for these awards. Every student selected will receive a certificate and be invited to a ceremony to be held at the end of the spring semester.
University Scholarship Program
There are approximately 45 merit-based and need-based scholarships available through the Financial Aid Office to students attending CSUN. Information regarding the scholarships and application forms are available at the Financial Aid Office (818-677-3000).
