Legendary television producer Steven Bochco speaks to CTVA 350 class

Photo of Steven BochcoOn October 29th, 2008, Steven Bochco, considered the most iconic television producer in recent history, spoke to students in the CTVA 350 Film Directing class. Instructor of the class Robert Lewis is a long time friend of Bochco and is responsible for him coming to the class. Bochco shared his knowledge with the students and answered questions about the business of creating, writing, and producing successful prime time shows. Steven Bochco has 10 Prime Time Emmys and has created and produced such series as NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues, L.A. Law, Doogie Howser. M.D., Cop Rock, and the new TNT series Raising the Bar. Professor Nate Thomas, Film Production Option Head, states, "What an honor to have this legend grace the halls of our building and give to our students something that can't be taught in a book."
