MARC/MBRS at CSUN

 

The Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) and Minority Biomedical Research Support (MBRS) programs are special research training programs funded by the National Institutes of Health.  The MARC/MBRS program is administered at California State University Northridge by Dr. Maria Elena Zavala.

(1) to increase the number and capabilities of minority scientist engaged in biomedical research, 
(2) to strengthen science curricula and research opportunities at CSUN and
(3) To strengthen the biomedical research capabilities of minority institutions
