On behalf of CSUN ASQ APICS, we would like to thank you for visiting our website.

Our student branch is co-sponsored by Systems and Operations Management Department in the College of Business and Economics, American Society for Quality - San Fernando Valley Chapter, and The Association for Operations Management.

Our chapter offers many unique opportunities to our members and students, such as general meetings with guest speakers from both academic and professional organizations,Career Workshops, Evening with Industry, and so forth.

Mission and Objective

  1. Our Mission
    The student branch shall encourage and provide the means for the development of professional skills in students; enlighten students of this educational institution as to the nature and the incentives of entering into  profession concerned with quality; and facilitate the advancement of the theory and practice of quality and the allied arts and sciences.

  2. Our Objective
    Our objective is to continue as a club that provides a different and unique choice in careers to all students at California State University, Northridge. We will allow for the regular club duties/functions as other clubs, but with a chance to learn about quality and its many applications in our changing world.  In order to do this, we will provide career assistance through the career center on campus as well as within our section and our national ASQ organization.
