Courses in the department are organized by the conventional system of course numbers, beginning with introductory courses in the "100 level" (such as 150: Introduction to Sociology) and proceeding through those in the "600 level" (such as 690: Quantitative Methods, for graduate students).
Lower Division (100- and 200-level)
Upper Division (300- and 400-level; prerequisite of Sociology 150 or equivalent)
Courses Acceptable for the Master's Degree (400-level and above)
Graduate Courses (500-level and above)
