Text Box: Yo Chris! sorry for the lag on the reply.

thanks for reppin us out in northridge

Heres the answers:

1. Do you think that creativity is part of human nature or is it something that must be nurtured and learned? Please explain your answer.

I feel both answers could hold some truth. In my opinion, the spark of creativity is in human nature possibly arising from natural curiosity, but inorder for the creativity to advance and reach the category of creative genius it has to be nurtured and learned. In regards to music, inorder for artists, song writers, producers and marketers to all create and stay relevant they have to constantly learn from the environment

2.What made you decide to follow a creative career choice (though possibly risky) rather than something more stable?

Faith, love, and God. When we first started, we could barely write song hooks and verses, our recording's were terrible, and we were getting booed during performances. Something inside all of us kept our heads up and through persistance we kept on meeting people that encouraged us or offered the most random opportunities. Those opportunities kept the faith in us to keep in pushing even when the times were terrible and all roads lead to quiting music. If money or fame was the inspiration, we all would have quit years ago hahaha, but the thrill of creating something from the ground up and our love for music and our community keeps us going today.

3.What is your inspiration? How has personal experience influenced your creativity?

As general and vague as it sounds.. life is inspiration. i cant limit the inspirations to a list because it is seriously an infinite list. We take in inspirations from some of the most random life experiences to the simplest things laying right in front of us. Personal experience is a HUGE influence in our creativity. When touring to other cities in the US or other countries, personally taking in new environments gets the creative juices flowing and we apply that to our music and marketing.

4.What is your favorite creation? Please explain why you selected this one.

Too hard to answer hahah... no favorites yet.. still searching... hahaha

5.What do you wish to accomplish with your art?

We hope reach as many people as possible with our brand and music, creating a new layer to the Asian Amercian face in media over all the stereotypes that have branded us.

6.How do you know when a piece or project is finished and needs no additonal work?

That's the hardest part of creation for us.. knowing when to stop! haha Sometimes we just close our eyes and listen to a song we just finished and if it feels right from front to back then we call it a day. Sometimes we need to do 5 or 6 versions of a song and we get the opinions of our peers to make the final decision, because sometimes our ears are burned out and we need the opinions of credible sources to help us with our decisions.

7.Have you ever been faced with negative feedback? How was this reflected in your work, if at all?

Always. Negative feedback has inspired us to experiment and helped us grow as artists and marketers. We take a general tally of what people seem to like and dislike about us and adjust our campaigns and songs with the feedback in mind, while also maintaining what holds true to our own character and taste.

8.What impact do you think that commercialism and the media has had on your work? Is this good or bad?

It has had a great impact on our work. This is our full time career so the goal for us is to reach as many people as possible with our music and brand. Competing with major companies with huge marketing dollars for their projects is a huge challenge for independent artists like ourselves, and were all fighting for the same listeners - the general public. We work hard to maintain our identity as Asian Americans and apply that to what's relevant and what works in today's commercial taste in media. Pushing to create commercial credibility has helped us reach a larger audience of all races and helped us to keep on doing what we love so i must say its a good thing.

9.Are you a fan of cartoons? If so, what is your favorite one?

We're fan's of manga and i-manga because the stories are a bit edgier while still staying fantasty.. anything tokyopop is a favorite.

10.What is playing in your CD player/Ipod right now?

Lupe, Outkast, Muse, Kanye, Trance mix, gun's n roses, smashing pumpkins, lil wayne, rick ross, wale, mark ronson, spank rock... FM... lol

11. If you had to be any of these things, which would you like to be?
a) a member of the opposite sex, b) a clock, c) a pair of shoes, d) a duck
Please explain your choice.

A member of the opposite sex... the chance to see the world thru another person's eyes would be priceless.

12. If you only had 24 hours to live, how would you spend your day?

	We'd make one last song.

Peace Chris.. thanks for reppin fam
