You
can navigate through this tutorial by clicking various links. To
navigate in a linear fashion, click "next" after you are finished
with each page. If you prefer to navigate in a nonlinear fashion,
use the table of contents on the left of every main page to jump
between topics. You can take the quiz or complete the case study
(accessed on the top menu bar) at any time to test your understanding.
"Hot words" are
linked words in the text that go to the glossary for easy access
to their definitions. When the glossary or other "pop-up" windows
appear, close them by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner
of the pop-up window (or the square in the upper left for Macintosh
users) or by using the "close window" link.
You can move the
pop-up window on the computer screen by clicking on the top bar
and dragging to desired location. To use any of the pop up windows,
you will need to have a JavaScript-enabled browser (Netscape 2.x,
3.x, 4.x and greater, and Internet Explorer 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and greater),
with JavaScript enabled in your preferences. Check the documentation
for your browser if you are unsure how to manipulate these settings,
but the simplest way to check is to click here. If the words "JavaScript
is Working!!" appear in a box on your screen, you should have no
problem with the rest of the site.
