The Construction Management Technology program at California State University Northridge was initiated to fill a need of the industry in Los Angeles area. Since its inception in 2005, its enrollment is growing so fast. The program is a candidate for accreditation by the American Council for Construction Education with expected accreditation visit in Spring 2010.
The academic program is interdisciplinary, with course requirements in business, engineering and humanities as well as the applied courses in construction science and construction management. The focus is on the integration of innovative management systems and other technologies into the construction process. These requirements provide a wide scope of educational experiences and create a much broader range of career options for graduates.
