Upcoming Conferences:Chico California: May 2-4, 2008

Chico, California is about an hour and a half north of Sacramento is a medium sized city, well known for its recreational opportunities, especially Bidwell Park one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Sutter Buttes, Lassen Volcanic National Park and Lake Oroville are also nearby... not to mention Paradise itself, so there are numerous field trip opportunities.

Tradition suggests that the annual conference move about the state so to maximize the number of regions visited in a four year cycle, in order to maximize opportunities for students who may have trouble traveling to distant parts of the state.

We have not visited the central coast, nor the Bay Area in many years.
