Instructions (PLEASE READ!!!)
Before you begin the registration process you should have your credit card or PayPal information ready. If you are presenting a paper, map or poster, you'll need your abstract and other information as well. There are five steps for most conference attendees.
- Enter your name, address and affiliation and other basic contact information in the form below.
- If you are presenting a paper, map, poster, or participating in a panel discussion, you will enter information identifying the title, abstract and other information the CGS needs to arrange sessions and the abstract guide. You should prepare your abstract on a word processor before you start the registration process.
- You will select options for membership, registration, field trips and meals.
YOU NEED TO SUBMIT BOTH A REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND A PAYMENT. THESE ARE TWO SEPARATE TASKS.
- Open the CGS PayPal portal window, click on the fee options you have selected during the registration process and submit your payment electronically (or mail a check to the California Geographical Society)
- Click on the "Register with CGS" button to submit your REGISTRATION information.
If you would like, you can open the PayPal window now and complete the registration information and payment information simultaneously, but DON'T FORGET to register and pay
