IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!!

Hey everyone!!! I'm so glad that you want to take the time to get to know lil-ol' me. I must say that your making me blush. Let me start by saying that I am fun, loving 23 year old psychology student at Cal State Northridge University.  I was born on July 29,1981 which makes me a self-absorbed Leo. As you can tell by my front page, I am a little kid trapped in a grown woman's body. One of the many ways I express my inner child is with my obsession with Winnie the Pooh. You have no idea how much I love that silly ol' bear. I still remember the very first episode that I watched. It was on my birthday and the episode was dealing with Pooh's birthday... I knew right then and there it was fate.

I have been blessed with two wonderful families that I wouldn't trade for the world. Both of my parents were born and raised in the lovely and exotic island of Jamaica. (And before you even go there- no I don't have any weed!!) I'm what my family likes to call a "Jamerican." Meaning that both of my parents are Jamaican but I was born and raised right here in Southern California. Now I know what your thinking..."If she is Jamaican, why is she so light skin?" Well... first there is genetics, most of my family isn't very dark. And second of all you'd be surprised what a melting pot Jamaica can be. Although a darker shin tone is more abundant there, you can still find "Mexican-Jamaicans", "Chinese-Jamaicans", and even "Indian Jamaicans" that are called coolie. My family has all the above. My parents are divorced, but I have a wonderful Step-Dad, Step-Mom, and two younger Step-brothers, aside from my younger brother. We are all very close and I don't know what I would do without them.
