Spring 2010 Waitlist
THE SPRING SEMESTER WAITLIST WILL BE AVAILABLE STARTING THE FIRST DAY OF PRIORITY REGISTRATION: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9.
STUDENTS MAY SIGN UP AFTER THEIR DESIGNATED REGISTRATION DAY AND TIME. REQUESTS SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE ASSIGNED REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP.
Waiting lists are available for the following courses:
- BUS 302/L
- BLAW 308
- FIN 303
- MGT 360
- MKT 304
- SOM 306
- BUS 497
Follow the instructions carefully and select the appropriate form.
YOU SHOULD NOT SIGN-UP ON THE WAITLIST IN PLACE OF REGISTERING FOR CLASSES OR BEFORE YOUR APPOINTED REGISTRATION DATE AND TIME. Attempt to add these courses on PORTAL during your registration appointment if you meet all of the prerequisites and if you are taking the class for the first time (NON-REPEAT). Signing up on the waitlist prior to your registration appointment will not increase priority on the list.
ALSO, THE WAITLIST IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS WHO MEET PREREQUISITES (OR HAVE THE FINAL PREREQUISITES PENDING DURING FALL 2009 OR WINTER 2010) BUT WERE UNABLE TO ADD THE CLASS BECAUSE ALL SECTIONS WERE FULL DURING THEIR REGISTRATION APPOINTMENT.
REGARDING TRANSFER CLASSES: Any students transferring prerequisites from another college or university MUST SHOW A FINAL GRADE before permission number(s) can be issued. Courses completed PRIOR TO SUMMER 2009 MUST SHOW ON THE DPR.
STUDENTS WITH COURSES COMPLETED BEFORE SUMMER 2009 BUT NOT OFFICIALLY TRANSFERRED TO CSUN BY SPRING 2010 REGISTRATION CANNOT RECEIVE A PERMISSION NUMBER. THE COURSES MUST BE TRANSFERRED TO CSUN IMMEDIATELY AND PERMISSION NUMBERS WILL BE ISSUED ON A SPACE-AVAILABLE BASIS ONCE PREREQUISITES SHOW ON THE DPR.
If you are already enrolled in the class you are requesting to add, your waitlist request cannot be processed.
- Use this form if you are trying to add any of the following courses: BUS 302/L, BLAW 308, FIN 303, MGT 360, MKT 304, or SOM 306
- Use this form if you are trying to repeat BUS 302L for the SPRING 2010 Semester. Please be aware that you will not be able to add the course until the first day of class in accordance with the University Repeat Policy. If you are taking the class for the 3rd time you will also need an approved excess enrollment form.
- Use this form if you are trying to add BUS 497. SPRING 2010 graduates will receive first priority.
Fill out the online form COMPLETELY. Incomplete forms cannot be processed. If your form is complete and you meet the criteria for the course, you will receive a confirmation email within 1-3 business days that you have been added to the waiting list for the course(s) submitted on the form. Please do not follow-up with the office until the 1-3 business days have passed.
You may request a specific section, day, and/or time, but space in a specific section cannot be guaranteed.
