Electrical and Computer Engineering at CSUN Welcome to the web page of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at California State University Northridge. The department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering. The programs in Electrical Engineering offer students an opportunity to specialize in one of seven areas: Biomedical Engineering, Communication Systems Engineering, Control Systems, Digital System Design, Electronics and Solid State Engineering, Microwave and Antenna Engineering and Electrical Power Systems The department has state of the art laboratories that enhances learning and hands on experience. The IEEE student chapter plays a key role in providing an extensive network of information and social interaction for our students. The department provides ample facilities for project development building and testing with several computer laboratories and full versions of software packages that are used in industry. Therefore, our students acquire an invaluable education and knowledge in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The department has 13 full time faculty members, approximately 450 undergraduate students and 150 graduate students. Our Electrical Engineering program is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) with the maximum period of time (6 years). http://www.csun.edu/ece/cadence.html
