When it becomes close to the time to submit your evaluation,
check your email for a message with a password.
You should get a separate password email for each candidate you
are supervising. The email will be sent to the same address as
your Evaluator ID (see Step 1 for more
information on this).
Emails like the one on the right will automatically
be sent to all university supervisors and field-based supervisors
(supervising teachers, master teachers, administrative and clinical
supervisors, etc.) who are responsible for evaluating candidates'
fieldwork. The email indicates the course, term and the candidate
name. Most importantly, this email includes the password
(PSWD) and a link to the evaluation website:
https://classeval.csun.edu/classclimate/online/
Simply go to this site by clicking on your
email, or by copying the address and pasting it into the address
bar in your web browser. Then enter the password from the email
(password is not case sensitive).
You should receive a separate password
email for each candidate you are assigned. So if you
have six candidates to supervise, you will get six emails, each
with a different password. If you are required to complete a midterm
evaluation, you will receive separate emails (with new passwords)
for midterm and final evaluations. Each email has a unique password.
Be sure you save these passwords (write them down).
You will need these passwords at least twice - once to fill out
the draft evaluation and print it, and again when you submit the
completed evaluation.
If you think you should complete an evaluation
but did not receive an email with a password,
contact
the appropriate person in your department. You need to make
sure the department has your correct email address and that you
are assigned to the correct candidate(s). Also be sure your email
is not over its maximum or filtering the emails as spam.
NOTE: disreguard the "Note" at the
bottom of the email. This does not apply to the College of Education
evaluations.
