North Carolina 84, Duke 42
Brain Barner and Chuk Anakwenze each score 13 points as North Carolina (1-0) opened the spring 2008 season with a 42-point blowout win over Duke (0-1). Nicholas Canino led Duke with 10 points, while Saul Carlos and Jurdi Vbaldo each had 4 points. Bobby Moore had 10 points for North Carolina.
Blazers 54, Green Machine 50
Behind 15 points and 6 assist from Allen Finkelstein the Blazers (1-0) edged the Green Machine (0-1) by 4-pointd. Ian Joyce led the Green Machine with 15 points, including 3 three-pointers, while Jesse LeFuze added 13 points. Matthew Butts chipped in with 9 points for the Blazers.
95-Bulls 55, Celtics 44
Andrew Moore lite up the score board with a game high 19 points, while teammate Curtic Covington was right behind him with 18 points, as the 95-Bulls (1-0) defeated the Celtics (0-1) by 11-points in eth season opener for both teams. Yan Karim led the Celtics with 16 points and Erik Pegveno-Johnson had 11 points. Kenneth Oden had 12 points for the 95-Bulls.
