Aside from staying active, eating healthy, and managing stress, you can kick the BUTT habit by also using one or a combination of these methods:

 

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)
These medicines are safe for most people when used as directed. The US FDA says that NRT generally doubles the chances of a person quitting successfully.  But please ask your doctor for advice and/or read the label carefully before using any of these.

Support Groups
Studies show that people who are quitting do better if they receive support from family and friends.  Turning to stop-smoking support groups can also be worthwhile.

Smoking Cessation Programs
bulletIf you are a student, visit your Student Health Center to inquire about a smoking cessation program available to you.
