For some reason both Lectures 030 and 040 did not solve problem #5. In fact this problem was not dificult. The only explanation I could see is that we did emphasis this such problems on the lectures. From the other side, we saw such problems before and you have similar problems in homeworks, moreover, we have twice discussed it on the lecture briefly. Why did not we discuss it in more detail? Because we had essentially more difficult stuff to discuss and such a simple question was left for your own. Approximately 10% of students paid attention so they solved the problem.

Conclusion: Lectures can help but not replace the Personal Study.
