Subscribing to the Mailing List
CSUN ACM has a mailing list that all members are encouraged to subscribe to, so that we can inform you of upcoming events.
To subscribe, send an email to majordomo@csun.edu with "subscribe csunacm-g" (without quotes) in the message body (not the subject). To unsubscribe, do the same thing but with "unsubscribe csunacm-g" in the message body.
Adding ACM to WebCT
WebCT is an important means of communication for us. There, members can discuss issues and help in the planning of events.
- Log into WebCT with your CSUN username and password.
- Click the "Add Course" button.
- Click on the radio button next to "View by term: Default", then click the "Update" button.
- Find "ACM CS Prof Group" in the list.
- Click the pencil icon in the "Self-registration" column.
The ACM group will now show up on your WebCT homepage, and you can post messages to the entire group in the "Discussions" section.
