To activate your account

1. Go to the CSUN Web Portal front page
2. Enter User ID and password. (Call 677-1400 if you don't have those.)
3. Read and "ACCEPT" the Account Policy
4. Reset you password, authentication question and mail delivery preference

To forward your email

1. Do Steps 1 and 2 above
2. Under "My Menu" click "Web Mail"
3. Click "Options"
4. Click "Forwarding"
5. Input forwarding email address, click "START"

REMEMBER

• @csun.edu is the official Cal State Northridge communication method
• It is the student's responsibility to monitor her or his University email
• Not checking email is not a good reason for missing deadlines
