About A.I.S.A.

The American Indian Student Association, AISA of California State University, Northridge was originally chartered in 1974. For over twenty years AISA has been successful at coordinating academic achievement with cultural awareness. AISA enriches the CSUN community with general understanding of American Indians by acting as a forum for relevant issues, concerns, and as a student support group. The recruitment, retention, and motivation of American Indians to attend CSUN or any higher educational institution is an integral aspect of AISA's fundamental purpose. AISA also serves to supplement and promote the CSUN AMERICAN INDIAN STUDIES MINOR PROGRAM which is available through the Anthropology Department.
