Welcome you to
Group 4's Creativity Web page
We replicated a study on creativity in drawing, in ch.7 of our text, using our class members as subjects. Various objects were made available for subjects to choose and draw a still life in 40 mins. The subjects’ behaviors and choices during the process were noted. Subjects who displayed creative behaviors (i.e., choosing unusual objects, touching objects, bringing objects to their desks, starting then restarting) were brought to the front of the class. The drawings were displayed and the class voted on their top 3. The pictures that won most votes belonged to subjects displaying creative behaviors. Below is a sample of the drawings, ranging from low to high creative behaviors

Caught Wondering on the Freeway Again
Another gem on this endless string of ruby light
To the left is an infinite diamond strand shining bright
And the rain pours down on my roof with all God's might
tonight
I've the feeling I'm in a Busby Berkeley dance
A naive domino awaiting it's chance
to move one inch on this mile we're all ants
Up ahead someone's boredom and glory gone
in a glance.

Creative Web Sites
These are some web sites we found for our class assignment:
Donna's Link;
I found this site by typing in "Poetry In Motion," figuring that would bring up something interesting. The site has poetry enhanced with animation and sound, as well as an art gallery with paintings by the web designer.
Art's Link;
This is an awesome site of a very creative individual. He has made a lot of spectacular paintings and sculptures that are sure to captivate the imagination. You do not have to believe a word I say, but I suggest you check it out and see for yourself what I mean.
Adam's Link;
Pure fun. Leave reality as you knew it behind and immerse yourself in the intriguing world of ninjitsu and fast food delivery. This site is a big relief from the everyday. They have a cartoon strip, new versions of old games, a role-playing game, and even a take-out menu where you can send an order to a friend/victim of your choice (send one to yourself and you'll find out the gag). They took two unrelated concepts and mushed them together in a way that made me bust my gut. While you're there, check out the Japan Snacks link as well.
