March is Women's History Month.
March 14th - Huntington Library's Women's Studies Seminars 25th Anniversary Event. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Nayereh Tohidi, GWS Chair.
March 16th - Fundi: The Story of Ella Baker. Film screening, from 7:00-9:00pm in the Whitsett Room, Sierra Hall 451. Co-sponsored by WRRC. Yuisa Gimeno, queer Chicana activist and L.A. Radical Women Organizer will hold a Q +A portion after the film.
March 26th - Opening of the new Women's Resource and Research Center. Open House from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Light Lunch served at 12 p.m. followed by remarks by Dean Say and Elizabeth Berry.
March 27th - 1:00-3:00 p.m., Dr. Breny Mendoza's colloquium, "The Geopolitics of Political Science and Gender Studies in Latin America." Jerome Richfield Hall, Room 319.
