Teens Writing at Their Best

Founded in 1923, The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards celebrate the accmplishments of creative students. Selected winners have their work published in Best Teen Writing.

Just think what the work of these young writers can teach us--and our students--about powerful writing!

In this inquiry workshp, teachers will examine the student models from The Best Teen Writing 2012 (provided with workshop registration) and collaborate with other teachers to create writing lessons to take into their classrooms.

Two Saturdays, 9 to noon (Registration begins at 8:30):

October 26th
Continental Breakfast provided

Register early! Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. This workshop will be held at the College of Education at California State University, Northridge. Room to be announced via email. Watch for signs.
