Saturday Seminars Series for Fall 2009

Seminar Fee: $25.00 each. Complementary for 2009 Teacher Consultants from the Cal State Northridge Writing Project

All Seminar sessions will be held in the college of Education at California State University, Northridge. Particiants will be informed of specific locations when registration is confirmed with payment. Payment is due (online or by check payable to The University Corporation) within 10 days of registration, or registration will be cancelled. Apply early! Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Make Payment. You may make an online payment through Authorize.Net. (NOTE: If you are registering for more than one seminar, each transaction needs to be done separately.)

    What is going on in your classroom? How do your students respond to a particular activity, strategy, or pedagogy? What evidence do you have that your approach is successful? Developing an informal action research project enables you to learn what works for your students and answer questions such as these.

    Many corporations offer small grants designed to supprt education, and many go begging simply because teachers don't know about them or don't know how to apply. In this workshop you will learn how to locate grant opportunities and how to write an effective grant proposal.
