Above and Beyond (Just Names and Dates): History and Social Science Instruction for the 21st Century

What: The Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidental Learning Center and the Cal State Northridge Writing Project will co-sponsor a collaborative Inquiry workshop for history and social science teachers focused on using evidence as historical interpretation, accessing primary sources for history and social science instruction, reading and writing like historians, and digital technologies for effective history and social science instruction..

When: 8:30 until 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2014

Where: The Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065

How Much: Only $35 which includes a Contintental breakfast and all materials. Lunch is available at the Library Cafeteria.

Earning Credit: One CEU is available for purchase for $90. Registration details will be available at the event.

Additional Information:Participants may wish to bring a laptop or other digital device.
