About the Center

The Wells Fargo Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CSBE) provides hands-on educational opportunities to students while benefiting the community through service learning, partnerships (such as the Small Business Institute), workshops, seminars, and the support of relevant applied research. The Center prepares students to be effective entrepreneurs, small business owners, and consultants to those types of firms. The Center coordinates interdisciplinary curricula and programs to best meet the needs of students and the local community.

Consistent with our primary emphasis on education, the Center chooses projects and programs with first consideration of the potential benefit to our students. Through these projects, the Center represents the College as a valued community partner. The Wells Fargo Center serves the University and its Mission through experiential learning, community service learning and interdisciplinary curriculum development, and by building alliances within our local community.
