More About This Week's Workshop Leader:

Erica Wohldmann

Erica Wohldmann is earned a joint Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and cognitive science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and is currently a Professor of Psychology and the Interim Director for the Institute for Sustainability. She teaches classes about food choices, best practices in sustainability, ecopsychology, and cognition. Erica’s research on factors that influence food choices has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and published in the leading peer-reviewed scientific journals, Psychology Today and on the National Wildlife Federation website. In 2012, Erica traveled through 16 states in the western U.S.. She lived in the forest for 6 full months, eating only wild edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms. She now teaches workshops and leads plant identification walks all over the city of Los Angles, as well as at popular music and yoga festivals.
