Web Colors and Typefaces
The university’s official colors, Matador Red and Black, are a central component of the CSUN Graphic Standards for Web applications.

Guidelines
- Use the correct Web Hexadecimal colors for Matador Red (#990000) and Black (#000000).
- Do not use maroon and dark gray, or red and ochre as a substitute for the CSUN Colors.
- Please refer to the Recommended Typefaces page for a list of typefaces for university signage and business system
- For university web pages use the font family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif as the base font.
