College Web Site Taxonomy

Revised July 2008

The table below lists recommended content labels and structure for College web sites, including a home page and College web site sub-pages pages for Faculty and Staff, College Alumni, and College Support.

This taxonomy was tested for usability using a card-sort in December 2007, and refined accordingly. Subsequent refinements are expected as the taxonomy is applied to College web sites, once real-time usability tests are conducted, and as new information needs arise.
