Award: $1,000
The Twitter Scholarship is reserved for students who follow the Financial Aid & Scholarship Department (@CSUN_STARSOnline) on Twitter. Ten students will be randomly selected and each win a $1,000 scholarship. Students enrolled in a degree program through Tseng College are not eligible. There is not a GPA requirement for this scholarship.
Eligibility
- You must follow @CSUN_STARSOnline on Twitter.
- You must complete a scholarship application through STARS Online.
- You must be enrolled at least part time.
- You must have filed a FAFSA if you are a U.S. citizen.
- You must have submitted the California Dream Act application if you are an AB540 student.
- You must have a J1 or F1 visa if you are an international student.
Application Process
- You must follow the Financial Aid & Scholarship Department on Twitter (@CSUN_STARSOnline).
- You will then be verified to ensure you've enrolled at least part time, have completed an application on STARS Online and submitted a FAFSA or California Dream Act application.
- Scholarship Essay: This scholarship is intended to recognize students who are motivated and have a positive attitude. Describe how you have developed a sense of work ethic, responsibility and time management. How is your positive attitude reflected in your life, including your work?
- High School Transcripts: Upload a copy of your high school transcripts.
