The University Student Union (USU) at California State University, Northridge is a student centered non-profit organization that works to expand the college experience through various programs, services, employment, and involvement opportunities.

The mission of the USU is to foster the achievement of students’ educational goals by facilitating a strong connection between students and their campus community.

We are an engaging and energetic campus program that develops students through inclusive activities, meaningful employment opportunities, leadership experiences and innovative technologies, facilities, and services.

“Veterans Professional Development Dinner” Helps Prepare Student Veterans for Future Careers

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) invites all CSUN student veterans to attend its “Veterans Professional Development Dinner” on Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 4:45 to 7 p.m. in the Northridge Center at the University Student Union. Each veteran in attendance will enjoy a free dinner while learning about various career fields, participating in job workshops and networking with current working professionals. Read more

"Matador Recreation Day” Invites CSUN Students to Celebrate Fitness and Wellbeing the Matador Way

The University Student Union (USU) and the Student Recreation Center (SRC) invite all CSUN students to learn about healthy living and participate in recreational activities at “Matador Recreation Day”. On Thursday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., students can join in the day’s festivities which will include a fun but challenging obstacle course, informational tables, raffle giveaways, live music and free food. It’s all taking place at the USU along the SRC Walkway and on the Turf Field behind the SRC. Read more
