University Student Union

The University Student Union (USU) at California State University, Northridge is a student centered non-profit organization that works to expand the college experience through various programs, services, employment, and involvement opportunities.

The mission of the USU is to foster the achievement of students’ educational goals by facilitating a strong connection between students and their campus community.

We are an engaging and energetic campus program that develops students through inclusive activities, meaningful employment opportunities, leadership experiences and innovative technologies, facilities, and services.

Music Therapy Before Finals Week

Music Night will feature two local bands who play hip-hop, funk, an alternative rock–The Beat Police and Cracker Jack Boxers. This event is free for students to relax and enjoy before finals. Free pizza and small snacks will be provided for students throughout the show. Free gaming also will be available. Read more

A Space For Students To Focus On Finals

The much anticipated finals week is approaching, and students have taken to Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites to voice their frustrations. The University Student Union (USU) will attempt to solve this problem with, “It’s Crunch Time” during the week of, and before finals from Tuesday, May 8 through Thursday, May 17 in the USU and the Satellite Student Union (SSU). This two-week event will feature stress-relieving services such as: arts and crafts, free massages, free food, and free test kits–which include scantrons, green examination books, and pens.   Read more

First Annual Veterans Resource Fair
