USU’s “CARNAVAL” Lets Students Explore the World Without a Plane Ticket

WHAT:
The University Student Union invites all CSUN students to the 19th annual “CARNAVAL.” Students can attend this free celebration of global diversity and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of each continent.

WHO:
Xiomara Carranza, Student Events Assistant for Lectures & Cultures, is responsible for coordinating this event.

WHEN:
Thursday, April 7 from Noon to 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: 
Plaza del Sol at the USU

WHY:
Provide CSUN students an opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding about other cultures through fun and interactive activities from around the world. 

BACKGROUND:
Bring your friends to this cultural celebration and explore a variety of international culture through dance, music, live performances, crafts and international cuisine, all for free. Attendees can receive an event passport that can be stamped for each activity they participate in. Fill your passport up for a chance to win one of four $100 Southwest Airlines gift cards.
