The University Student Union Presents a Rewind in Time at “Matador Nights – The ‘90s”

August 29, 2016

Northridge— The University Student Union (USU) invites all CSUN students to rewind in time at “Matador Nights — The ‘90s”! On Friday, Sept. 16 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the USU, students will experience the biggest ‘90s bash ever with the hottest music spun by live DJs, featuring Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys. The scene will be complete with a roller rink, a ‘90s arcade, rad carnival rides, great food and more — all right here on campus and completely FREE to CSUN students!

“We are so excited for students to enjoy a throwback night of childhood memories at this year’s Matador Nights,” said Student Events Assistant and Event Lead, Tania Dominguez. “The USU’s biggest party of the semester will take students back in time with their favorite games, music and that ‘90s look, all while dancing to music from the ‘90s to now!”

The night will be filled with free food, great tunes, thrilling rides and non-stop fun activities. Take a turn on the crazy “Rock-O-Plane” ride and zoom down the Giant Slide. Enjoy “The ‘90s” arcade in the Grand Salon and have a Dance Dance Revolution showdown or a Skee-ball competition with your friends.

Grab a bite to eat at “The Max”, the iconic diner from “Saved by the Bell”. Then check out the many other activities, including roller-skating, a ‘90s music shop and glitter tattoos. What would a ‘90s party be without all the great music from the decade? Get ready to hear your favorite jams all night long!

Students with a current CSUN ID can pick up their FREE tickets now at the USU Sol Center Front Desk and the A.S. Ticket Office.

Celebrate “The ‘90s” like you mean it at “Matador Nights”! For more information about this special event, please visit www.csun.edu/usu or contact USU Events Supervisor Randy Sorensen at .
