FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Northridge — The University Student Union invites all CSUN students interested in working for the USU to attend one of its upcoming ‘Job Information Sessions.’ You can choose from two sessions in the Grand Salon at the USU on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. or Thursday, Sept. 24 from 5 to 6 p.m.

The University Student Union is the largest employer of students on campus with jobs at the USU, Student Recreation Center, Oasis Wellness Center, Pride Center, Veterans Resource Center, Computer Lab and more.

“Every student interested in working for the USU and its centers is highly urged to attend,” said USU Program Coordinator for Training and Development, Matt Eickhoff. “The information sessions are extremely helpful to get insider tips on how to apply for our many great positions.”

All attendees will learn resume tips and tricks and how to successfully complete an online application for the USU. Student positions are available that will help expand your college experience through a leadership role, build a stronger resume and increase your credibility in the work force after you graduate.

Currently, the USU employs more than 400 students.

All student employees of the USU can work up to twenty hours a week during the school year and their job schedule will be worked around their class schedule.
