Accessibility and Universal Design Principles Training

Training Description: 

This session is an introduction to the world of accessibility and universal design. You will gain a first hand understanding of the various principles along with applicable laws, standards and CSU policies that aim to ensure content on is built with accessibility in mind. You will also learn about the universal design strategies necessary to create inclusive learning environments that support all students, faculty and staff alike. 

Learning Objectives: 

In this training, attendees will: 

1. Receive an overview of accessibility and universal design principles 
2. Learn about applicable accessibility laws, standards, and policies that our institution must follow  
3. Learn about the benefits of building with accessibility in mind and incorporating universal design principals into learning material
