My Student Body: Login Instructions

 

1. Go to http://www.mystudentbody.com
2. In the middle of the screen there is a box that says Is this your first time? Click here to register. Click on the link GO.
3. On the page titled FIRST TIME USERS, enter your school code: matadors
   and create a unique username and a password. Each one can be up to 8 characters in length.

IMPORTANT: Write down your username and password for future use. You will need them to access the course and the rest of the site if you log off.

4. Fill in all of the required information on the Registration page and then click CONTINUE at the bottom of the page. On the next page, verify the information you entered and click FINISH.
5. You will be directed to the MyStudentBody lobby. Click on the icon of your choice: ALCOHOL, DRUGS, NUTRITION, STDs, STRESS, or TOBACCO.
6. On the page labeled First Time Users, complete the required information to enter the course:

• If you choose ALCOHOL because you are required to do so and will need a certificate when you have completed the course, then please select As a Requirement in Question 1. Answer the remaining questions, click CONTINUE, and follow steps 7 to 10 below.
• If you do not choose ALCOHOL, or if you are not required to complete the entire alcohol course, then please select By Choice in Question 1. Answer the remaining questions, click CONTINUE, and skip to step 11 below.

7. On the page labeled Welcome, please select the course for new students, which is First Year. When prompted, please enter your name and CSUN student ID number.
8. You will go through a pre-test, a profile with personalized feedback, course materials, a satisfaction survey, and a post-test. All of your answers on profile and survey questions will be kept CONFIDENTIAL. There is a bar at the top of the page that will show you what sections are remaining.
9. In order to get through the course, you must view all the articles, activities, and tools. Course materials you have viewed will be marked with an icon that says DONE. In order to get credit for having read every article, you must click the link at the bottom of the article to return to the course page. After you have viewed all the material, you will be taken to the post-test page.
10. After you go through the post-test section, you will be taken to a certificate page. Please print or email the certificate to yourself. After that, you can either logout or explore the entire MyStudentBody site.
11. If you wish to log out of MyStudentBody and return to it at a later date, you may. Please make sure you click the LOGOUT button in the upper right hand corner of the screen before leaving the program. If you close your browser without first logging out, you will lose all the information you put in. To log back in, make sure you use the same username and password as you did for your first visit, or you will have to re-register.
12. About confidentiality: Your responses to all questions and assessments on MyStudentBody will be kept anonymous, and will not be associated with your name in any way. For those of you who are visiting MyStudentBody to fulfill a requirement, a completion certificate will be sent to the faculty member or administrator you designate once you have visited all the sections of the course and passed the post-test, but this notification will not contain any information about your individual responses. We respect your privacy.
13. If you have a problem while using the site, please access the Course Help link at the bottom of each page. If you have questions that the links cannot help with, please ask a University 100 classmate or email univ100@csun.edu for further assistance.
