The Matador Achievement Center provides free tutoring in multiple subjects for all current student-athletes. We do not provide tutoring for non-athletes. We offer tutoring on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed) Sunday through Friday. Students can also book same-day appointments, or appointments up to a week in advance. To schedule an appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (818) 677-6356.
Spring tutoring starts on Monday, Feb. 8. Click here to download the current Tentative Tutoring Schedule SP16.
All tutoring is held in Bayramian Hall, room 525. Please note that Sunday tutoring is held on the third floor of the library, in room OV 300B (the room says “Testing Lab”). It is to the right of the Learning Resource Center.

To apply to be a tutor, download a Spring 2016 Tutoring Application (.doc) and submit your completed application, along with a current resume, to the Tutoring Coordinator, Andrea Hernandez. Applications are accepted year-round.
As part of the ongoing training of the Matador Achievement Center's tutors, Andrea Hernandez hosted the department's first tutor retreat in May of 2014. The video below demonstrates the type of interactive discussions and team building exercises that took place during the retreat.
