WRITING YOUR RESUME AND COVER LETTER: Thursday, April 28 -- 3:00 - 4:00pm

Getting ready to graduate or looking for a summer job?  Come to the LRC and learn how to put your best foot forward in our Resume/Cover Letter workshop.  You will learn how to organize your ideas and experience, format your resume, and present yourself at your best to prospective employers.

You've worked hard on your paper.  Make sure your research is carefully presented in the correct format. 

This workshop will help you follow MLA format in your parenthetical citations, your list of works cited, and the incorporation of evidence into your discussion.

Are typos, misspellings, and grammar and punctuation errors making your writing seem unprofessional?

This one-hour workshop will provide you with techniques for finding your mistakes and correcting them before you hand in your paper.
