Plus, first-time freshmen matriculating in the fall semester who have a high school GPA of 3.75 or higher and demonstrate an unmet financial need are eligible for the Rising Scholars Award. The Rising Scholars Award is a $5,000 scholarship awarded for up to two years to 10 GE Honors students. Rising Scholars are recognized across campus as especially promising students and are often highly competitive candidates when applying for additional scholarships in their junior and senior years.
Recipients of the Rising Scholars Award must have an exceptional academic record and demonstrate financial need. More information on the Rising Scholars Award is available on our website.
Although the Rising Scholars Award is only given to GE Honors students, admission to the GE Honors program does not automatically qualify you for a scholarship.
