Teaching Series with Technology - Using Compare and Contrast to Enhance Learning

Our brains are wired to recognize differences.  We often show students examples of what we want, but they might be distracted by insignificant details and miss the key features of our mode.  This problem applies to everything from interpreting complex data graphs to writing effective essays.  This brief workshop introduces strategies for using comparisons to help students recognize what really matters.
