Politicizing the Lyric: Poetry, Poststructuralism, and Protocol
This presentation will focus on protocols we use in reading and interpreting poetry, especially lyric poetry – and on how poststructuralism alters both protocols and interpretations. It is a presentation used for the lower division survey course English 275: Major American Authors. But it is a presentation that can be used in upper division literature courses as well.
