Volunteer Opportunities:
The volunteers at MEND are the lifeblood of the agency. In 2014, nearly than 5000 volunteers gave upwards of 193,000 hours of their time, equivalent to more than 106 full-time workers.
MEND is committed to remaining a volunteer-driven organization, so that its donations and income go directly to the needy recipients. During the 2012-13 fiscal years, administrative and fundraising costs were 5% of MEND’s total revenue. This is possible only through the assistance of the dedicated volunteers who give so freely of themselves to MEND.
