You may be familiar with Carol Dweck's concept of the "growth mindset." This workshop, led by CSUN faculty member Debbi Mercado (English, Academic First Year Experiences, and LRC), will provide participants with a rich collection of strategies, assignments, approaches, and resources to cultivate grit in CSUN students.
