* The Office of Assessment and the UDWPE are conducting a special pilot version of the UDWPE  for the May exam.  Up to 200 students can participate in this pilot program. The exam will ask students to analyze a selected reading, utilizing critical thinking, quantitative reasoning and information competency skills. The benefits for students include two hours for the exam and the ability to take the exam in the computer lab.

The Office of Academic Assessment and Program Review and the WPE have revised the scoring guide for the May pilot exam. This pilot rubric includes a simplified scoring system: High Pass, Pass, Fail. If you have already registered for, but would like to opt out of, the computer-based exam and take the paper/pencil UDWPE on Saturday, May 30, please contact the Testing Center no later than noon (12pm) on Friday, May 22.

+ IMPORTANT: In order to facilitate timely processing of degrees, please note that students scheduled for Spring 2015 graduation may not take the computer version of the exam.

For information on specific exam time and location, visit the Testing Calendar page.

If you miss the WPE date for which you registered, the fee cannot be rolled over to another exam date. You will have to re-register and pay for the exam again.
