Financial Aid

Apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov (FAFSA). This one application is used to determine eligibility for summer, fall and spring. If you already have completed the FAFSA for 2009-10 you will automatically be considered for summer aid for the Early Start program. However, you must apply on the FAFSA by March 2, 2009 for summer aid priority consideration. If you file after March 2 you will be considered for Fall and Spring aid; however funding for summer may not be available after March 2. Award notices will be mailed beginning in mid-April. For more information please contact the Financial Aid and Scholarship Department at www.csun.edu/finaid, (818) 677-4085, or in the Bayramian Hall first floor lobby.
