CSUN Upper Division Writing Proficiency Requirement Advisory Board
*ALERT* There was an unidentified and erroneous mass e-mail sent out to CSUN students on 3/7/12 indicating they have not taken the required Upper Division Writing Proficiency Exam (UDWPE). If you know you have taken the exam and passed, please disregard this message. If you are not sure, check your CSUN portal to see if you have a hold on your account. If you just took the March 3rd exam, please wait for the test results - your score should appear on your portal in 2-4 weeks.

Beginning in fall 2011, a new university policy will require students to take the UDWPE no later than the semester in which they complete 75 units. Students who do not take the exam by the completion of 75 units will have a hold placed on future registration for classes. Visit the Testing Center website for registration information and test dates.
